The 121st annual Wright Brothers Day is quickly approaching! Aviation enthusiasts and history buffs alike will find lots to enjoy at this incredible celebration at the Wright Brothers National Memorial in Kitty Hawk.

On December 17, 2024, the public is invited to celebrate the 121st Wright Brothers Day at the Wright Brothers National Memorial! Together, the community will honor the anniversary of the first successful powered flight with free admission, replica 1903 Wright Flyer demonstrations, educational programs, and much more.
Descendants of the witnesses to the first flight will participate in a moving wreath-laying ceremony. The special day will also feature the induction of legendary Tuskegee Airman Charles McGee into the Paul E. Garber Shrine and the unveiling of a special Charles McGee Portrait.
The day is sure to be engaging and exciting!
