Mom will be happy with any of them! Here are a few favorite dinner spots, however, in case you need some inspiration.  [Basnight's Lone Cedar Cafe](https://lonecedarcafe.com/) is a waterfront seafood restaurant in Nags Head. They're proudly farm-to-table, and they have incredible sunset views.  [Red Sky Cafe](https://redskycafe.com/) in Duck has creative, healthy, and fresh foods that highlight local ingredients. They cater to many dietary restrictions, so families with dietary needs will love this cute spot!  [The SaltBox Cafe](http://www.thesaltboxcafe.com/) is a charming cottage-style restaurant in Kill Devil Hills. They have steaks, seafood, and other American eats.
