This December, Island Farm in Manteo will host "Christmas on the North End." This special event will focus on holiday traditions dating back to the earliest days in the Outer Banks. Costumed interpreters will demonstrate how Roanoke Island families celebrated Christmas in the mid-1800s. The entire homplace will be decorated in traditional style, and interpreters on the property will showcase traditional food, celebration, and holiday crafts. It is going to be so much fun!
