33rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade (Nags Head - March 17, 2024): Bring your friends and family to the largest St. Patrick's Day parade in North Carolina! The parade starts at Mile Post 11.5, at the intersection of Bladen Street and South Virginia Dare Trail. Get there early to snag a good viewing spot!
Running of the Leprechauns (Nags Head - March 16, 2024): Running of the Leprechauns is a fun, festive 5K and 10K race. Each finisher receives a medal and an event shirt. Awards will be given to the top 3 Male and Female finishers in each of the two distances.
St. Patrick's Day at Lost Colony Brewing (Nags Head - all March long): The St. Patrick's Day festivities last all month long at Lost Colony Brewing! Each Saturday in March, there will be live music by the Irish band The O’Brothers. On the menu, you'll find Irish cuisine and Irish beers! The decor and clothing will be equally festive.
St. Patrick's Day Beer Mile (Kill Devil Hills - March 16, 2024): This St. Patrick's Day, join the Brewing Station for a Leprechaun-themed beer mile! Prizes will be awarded to the fastest male and female overall. Costumes are encouraged. Dress in your best green outfit and you could win a prize in the costume contest! There will also be a backyard party, commemorative t-shirts, and more.
