Father's Day is this weekend! In the Outer Banks, there are a million ways to celebrate Dad. Here are a few of our suggestions to help you plan the perfect Father's Day adventure in the Outer Banks!

Events

The Beach Boys: On June 15, the Beach Boys are coming to the Outer Banks! Dad will get to hear all of his favorites, from "Wouldn't It Be Nice?" to "Surfin' USA." John Stamos will be a special guest. 

Father’s Day lunch at Outer Banks Brewing Station: Come out to Outer Banks Brewing Station for delicious food and live saxophone tunes. This is the way to spend a relaxing Father's Day afternoon! 

42nd Annual Rogallo Kite Fest: Join in the fun at the 42nd Annual Rogallo Kite Festival (June 14-15, 2024)! Dad can either fly his own kite or watch the pros fly 30 – 100 ft kites over Jockey's Ridge State Park.

Hiking: The Outer Banks boast a wide variety of awesome trails to explore- and June is one of the best months for hiking! Not so big on hiking? Take Dad for a walk on the beach!

Fishing: The Outer Banks is known for its fishing! Father's Day is the perfect occasion to cast a line. Try fly fishing or keep it classic. For a special treat, try deep sea fishing! 

Craft Beer: Treat Dad to a cold beer this Father's Day! Dad will love exploring the breweries in the Outer Banks. There are lots of delicious brews to sample!
