This celebration aims to provide a fun and educational experience that will promote, honor, and celebrate the Wright Brothers' accomplishments.
National Aviation Day is fun for the whole family! There will be airplane displays, exhibit, food trucks, and other fun things. Confirmed exhibitors include Kitty Hawk Kites, Civil Air Patrol, Military Aviation Museum, Elizabeth City State University, Dare County Radio Control Flyers, AOPA, Dare County, and Tubbs Hot Dogs.

Don't miss featured speaker, historian Larry Tise, giving his presentation “The Elusive Orville Wright from Kitty Hawk and Beyond” at 11:00AM on August 19th.
Another highlight of the event will be the Capital Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) offering warbird rides in its 1945 General Motors TBM Avenger torpedo bomber. The public can book rides on August 19 and 20 at: www.capitalwingwarbirdrides.org.
