Shred Fest is back! If you've attended before, then you know how much fun it is- and how much it does to help local veterans and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). If you haven't attended, then you need to check it out!
Shred Fest is an annual fundraiser for Dare2Care OBX that builds awareness for Veterans and encourages inclusion for individuals with IDD in the Outer Banks community. Previous years have enabled large donations to great local support agencies.
This family-friendly event is packed full of awesome activities! There will be live music on two separate stages, featuring multiple bands such as the Dare2Care OBX Shredders. You can catch demos by professional skateboarders, BMX riders, and roller derby women. There will also be food, drinks, raffles, art, and more! New activities this year include the Community Pop Up Shop and a "Ladies Only SK8" session.
