Outer Banks Brewtag

OBX Brewtag is modeled after the German "Red Bull Flutag" (flying day). At this exciting event, Brewtag competitors will see who can launch and fly an empty 1/6 keg barrel the furthest. It is a whimsical, unique event that the whole family will enjoy watching. Admission is free, with beer and food available to purchase. Check it out on October 22, 2022!

Visit a Local Brewery

Outer Banks is home to some amazing craft breweries. In Kill Devil Hills, you'll find Outer Banks Brewing Station and Swells'a Brewing Beer Company. Corolla is home to Northern Outer Banks Brewing Company- then there's Weeping Radish Farm in Grandy and 1718 Brewing in Ocracoke. Lost Colony Brewery has two locations- one in Nags Head and one in Manteo. Wherever you are in the Outer Banks, you're never far from a tasty craft beer! Sip local this Oktoberfest season!

Prost! Raise your pints and get ready to celebrate in the Outer Banks!
