The Outer Banks is a stunning, serene area to visit. If you enjoy pristine, calm beaches, then you need to plan a trip to the Outer Banks. The local beaches are some of the best in the country!
On January 25th, the travel site TripSavvy posted a list of the top beach towns in the United States. One Outer Banks town made this exclusive list! Our very own Nags Head is one of the best 18 beaches in the country.
It is easy to see why Nags Head made this list. Known for having the largest natural sand dunes on the east coast, this beach town is a unique vacation destination. The coastline is gorgeous, the seafood is incredible, and there are plenty of family-friendly attractions to enjoy. The fishing is awesome, and the dolphin tours are unbeatable.
Speaking of Nags Head, TripSavvy wrote: "Situated along North Carolina’s famed Outer Banks region, the town of Nags Head—which features 30 public beach access points—is not to be missed. Jockey's Ridge State Park is best known for its towering sand dunes, while the nostalgia-inducing Outer Banks Fishing Pier offers excellent fishing and an on-site restaurant. Speaking of food, gourmands will especially love Nags Head for its abundance of seafood spots like Sam and Omie’s, Owen’s, Tale of the Whale, and Sugar Shack Fish Market Oyster Bar and Grill."
The complete list of beaches that made the list includes all of the best of the best. You can read it here: https://www.tripsavvy.com/best-beach-towns-in-the-us-7093921
