The Outer Banks is a beautiful, family-friendly summer vacation destination. The entire season is packed with fun things to do- including the daily events taking place as a part of the Waterfront Festival.

From June 5 through August 11, 2023, Kitty Hawk Kites is hosting the Waterfront Festival at Waves Village. Themed events take place Monday through Friday nights from 7pm to sunset. You can have fun at the festival all week long!
Monday is Fly a Kite Night. You can make a paper kite or bring your own kite to fly.
Tuesday is Light Up Night. All of the games and toys glow!
Wednesday is Way Back Wednesday. Come enjoy classic games like bingo, jenga, and other board games.

Thursday is Pirate Night. Pretend to be a pirate for the night! There will be treasure hunts, music, games, toys, arts & crafts, and other festivities. Dress up is welcome!
Friday is Family Fun Night. All of the activities are geared towards family. Games will include spikeball and cornball. There will also be arts & crafts and other activities.
