I Got Your Crabs 

I Got Your Crabs is the definitive oyster bar of the Outer Banks. Located in Kitty Hawk, this is a family-operated restaurant that specializes in fresh seafood. They have great oysters and, seasonally, they have blue crab! 

Try their classic fresh oysters, served shucked to order- raw, steamed, or fried- year-round.

Blue Water Grill and Raw Bar 

Blue Water Grill in Manteo serves up raw bar favorites with wonderful views of the water. You'll love this comfortable spot, which also serves tasty meat dishes and creative cocktails.  

Try their Topped Oysters: Chesapeake Bay broiled oysters topped with an Old Bay butter, parmesan cheese, and saltine cracker crumb.

Awful Arthur's Oyster Bar 

Awful Arthur's in Kill Devil Hills has a wide variety of oysters- they truly have a variety for everyone! It is popular with the locals, so when you're there, you're in wonderful and knowledgeable company.

Mahi Mahi's Island Grill

Mahi Mahi's in Nags Head is a local seafood joint with a great atmosphere. They are fun and kid-friendly! It's a great place to try oysters if you're traveling with picky children. Their oysters are great- as is their sorbet and other desserts.
