Traveling during Halloween doesn't mean that the kids have to miss out on trick or treating! These are the best places to take the kids trick or treating if you're going to be in the Outer Banks during Halloween.
Outer Banks Halloween Parade of Costumes: The 9th Annual Outer Banks Halloween Parade of Costumes will return to Aviation Park in Kill Devil Hills on October 30, 2022! This free party is fun for all ages. Show off your costume and go trick-or-treating!
Trunk or Treat at Koru Village: In Nags Head, there will be a community Trunk or Treat event on October 31st in the The Beach Klub at Koru Village parking lot. Here, kids can trick or treat in a safe, secure environment. Each trunk will have a festive, spooky theme! The kids will love it!
Drive Thru Trunk or Treat at Dare County Library: Families are invited to visit either the Manteo Library or the Kill Devil Hills library for drive thru trunk or treat on October 26th. Come in costume and receive treats from local librarians!
Trunk or Treat at OBX Martial Arts: On October 30th, kids can come to the parking lot at OBX Martial Arts in Nags Head for their annual community trunk or treat! There will be more than 200 pounds of candy and a small (non-scary) haunted house. It is going to be an amazing event.
